Broadcast by the BBC on Radio 1. The BBC had no FM stereo frequency in 1977 so this is probably from the master source. It’s a professional quality recording with limited stereo separation. The sound is very clear with excellent range and clarity and no distortion. Any roughness is more likely due to poor Clash gear than BBC equipment. 

This recording provides the best live versions of 1st album songs such as Cheat, 48 Hours, Protex Blue, Deny and Remote Control.
